Advanced Research Technologies, Inc. has supplied reagents for complement research since 1993. The decision of Dr. Bill Kolb and his wife, Linda, to retire from this business and the fact that Dr. Pangburn's lab at the University of Texas has supplied over 15% of these reagents to ART made it logical for us to acquire ART and continue to serve the complement community as a private entity. Kerry Pangburn, will be the Chief Operating Officer and will run the day-to-day operations of the company. Drs. Michael Pangburn and Nenoo Rawal plan to retain their university positions and be available for technical support on an as-needed basis. Dr. Kolb and Linda will remain involved as consultants for CompTech for the next five years to ensure that we will be able to supply the same high quality reagents as ART has supplied for the past 12 years.

President, Michael K. Pangburn, Ph.D., has spent 29 years in the complement field. He trained at Scripps Research Institute under Dr. Hans J. Muller-Eberhard (1976-1984). His research at the University of Texas Health Science Center, Tyler, Texas (1984-present) has resulted in more than 90 publications in the complement field.
